Welcome

Welcome to the support site for my simple cycling road race stopwatch.

This app solved a problem for me as a motor referee. I wanted a simple scrolling list of running time splits big enough to read at a glance. With version 2.2, the app is updated to support Dark Mode and all sizes of iPhone and iPad.

Details:

An (opinionated) Bicycle Road Racing Stopwatch that provides nearly unlimited timers and splits.

Splits are rounded to 5 second increments when the time is over a minute as is typical with bicycle race officiating. Touch the running mark to stop it. You can touch again to have the mark show the running time again.

Four common types of split are provided at the bottom. Touch any one (Sign, Left Turn, Intersection, and Right Turn). You can change the type of the split by swiping left to right after it is created. This helps you remember what mark was called on your race radio.

The splits are numbered for tracking and the detail page for the mark can be seen by touching the info icon on the right end of the row (i in circle). On that view, you can edit the description for the mark.  Using mileage markers for marks is a great strategy so you may only need to record that number. I have also found that very short abbreviations for street names work well for intersections.

Clear the splits touching the X above the list. The first touch on delete leaves three splits in the list. If there are 3 or fewer, touching the X will delete them all.

Version 2.2 of the app runs on iOS 14.0+ and has full support for multitasking, so you can run it beside  other apps on iPads that support split multitasking.

Upgrade to Version 2.2

Version 2.2 only supports iOS 14 and above.

If you had an old version of the app, it is possible that the old app database causes an incompatibility. Let me know in the comments if you have a problem, since I was not able to test this case because Apple has removed earlier versions from the store.

Deleting the app and its data from your device and then re-installing should clear up any potential problems.
